AWE Science team tend to Thatcham’s London Road Cemetery

Thatcham Town Council extends its sincere thanks to the dedicated volunteers from the AWE Science Team, who recently gave their time and energy to help restore and care for some of the older, unkept graves in our town cemetery, as part of their Corporate Volunteer Days.

The team – Marina, Stephen, Sue, Richard, Dave, and Anna – made a remarkable impact on the section they worked on, transforming the area and bringing dignity and respect back to forgotten resting places. Their efforts were deeply appreciated and did not go unnoticed.

Not only was their work valuable to the community, but it also served as a meaningful team-building experience. As Anna put it best: “We loved it!”
