Young Runners Invited to Join the Fun Run at Thatcham Family Fun Day 2025
Get ready to lace up your trainers and hit the track! The popular Fun Run is making its energetic return to the Thatcham Family Fun Day on Sunday 29th June 2025, at Henwick Worthy Sports Ground.
Proudly organised and sponsored by Everyone Active, children of all primary school ages are encouraged to take part in a series of fun, age-appropriate races. Whether they’re sprinting for gold or simply enjoying the run, every child is welcome to participate and shine.
Fun Run Schedule:
- 1pm – 100m Dash (Reception & below)
- 1.15pm – 200m Sprint (Years 1 & 2)
- 1.30pm – 400m Run (Years 3 & 4)
- 1.45pm – 600m Challenge (Years 5 & 6)
- 2pm – Non-Stop Run (Primary-aged children – how far can you go..?)
Advance registration is essential. Parents are encouraged to sign their children up early via the Everyone Active website.
All participants will be cheered on by families, friends, and supporters as they cross the finish line and celebrate the joy of running!
In addition to the races, the Dance Zone will be alive with performances from local dance and gymnastics schools of all ages and styles – and there are still some slots available!
